This is a nightmare situation for the Pens, not for the fact that the Flyers have played well against us but because who is on their team. Jagr and Talbot have some of the biggest and best moments in Pens lure. In fact my two most fond moments are Jagr's game winner in 92 and Talbot's goal in Game 7 of the SCF. I couldn't even imagine the reaction that would happen if Jagr or Talbot scored a goal in Game 7 against us. The reason I can't imagine it is because it isnt going to happen.

The Pens are rolling, everyone is healthy (knock on wood), and they have momentum on their side. Pens in 6.

Pens in 7

2-3 Majors

Better chance of Crosby taking shield off than Shelley putting a Flyers Jersey on during the playoffs.

I also would like the Flyers to win, but I'm rotting for Boston to go all the way!

So I hope these 2 teams also kill each other for 7 games. Refs better let 'em play and quit fuking with Rinaldo.

Flyers will sweep, if not a sweep then in 5. I believe that there is actually reverse favoritism going on. What I mean is that the penalties will favor the Flyers because the league will not want it to seem like they are giving bonus's out to the Pens. In this case I think that the jealous, complaining winey Flyers fans have done a good job. While trying to make pre-excuses for why the Flyers will lose ("Oh the calls will go against us, wah wah cry cry"), they may have actually weighed the scales in their direction.

(Plus, I would like the Caps to meet the Flyers down the road. I would rather not play the Pens.)

GO CAPS!

Don't try to be logical and post facts and shit with this group.

Oh and anytime Crosby whines...The Flyers will get a delay of game penalty for giving Crosby something to whine about..It's new..Bettman just wrote it in for this series alone....
Nahhh, Flyers fans are just making this stuff up.

Unfortunately I couldn't find a clip of that clean knee check Vitale put on Grossmann so that I could prove that that too was a creation of Flyers' fans minds.

I know right, it's not like the Flyers have been called for 102 more penalties on the season than the Pens have for a whopping 438 more penalty minutes or anything.

1. The Flyers play the best down low cycle game in the league, forcing the Pens to take penalties.

2. Should've had more than 8 more power plays. Case in point, I just posted three clips, all of them happening right in front of the watching eyes of a linesman, and none of them were called.

3. See post 39.

I'll take the Penguins in 6. Although I'd rather see the Flyers advance.

Look, as I said above, I admit that we're just making all of this up. Those videos I posted above are irrefutable proof of that. Pure conspiracies.

Same goes for those penalty minute stats I just posted. Total fabrication. And if Zac Rinaldo threw a cross check at Crosby's head right in front of the linesman, I'm positive the linesman would just shrug his shoulders and skate away without batting an eye. The Flyers fans may point to the sh*t talking that happened between Rinaldo and Crosby and point to the fact that Rinaldo was tossed and Crosby didn't even get a penalty as a sign of bogus, biased refereeing, but these conspiracy theorists obviously missed the part where Rinaldo flashed a loaded .45 at him. But you didn't miss it, because you were at the game. Just like you didn't miss Mac challenge Shelley 78 times and rape his daughter between periods.

Alright I'm having too much fun, I'll stop.

As for the question you lead off the quoted post with, the Flyers are gonna stomp the sh*t out of the Pens so I'm not even going to entertain that question the way it's phrased.

What I will say is that, much like the rest of the hockey world, I'll probably be disgusted by their antics and the NHL's refusal to clamp down on them.

I can't wait for this series, lots of hatred going on here. Hopefully we'll see at least a few scraps in this series. Both are very talented and deep teams, but the Penguins offense is a bit more scary than the Flyers. Pens in 7.
