Chicago has the best uniform in sports, they should advance automatically.

I take solace in knowing we could never advance past the second round even if we were to miraculously win the next three.

The lack of a power play has proven to be this teams undoing.
Absolutely inexcusable.

How Mike Kitchen has a job in the NHL is beyond me...

This guy is the worst power play coach I have ever seen...horrific.

I know he is Coach Q's boy, but come on man he needs to go by tomorrow

people only go to Phoenix from Chicago to die...so be proud of that I guess. you must own a funeral home there..
I've been to chicago in the summer. I like the town and I like the people. I know of many people in Phoenix that moved here from Chicago and other places. I know of nobody who has moved from Phoenix to Chicago.

Phoenix is a transplanted town. It's doesnt have the established population that chicago and other east coast cities have. Phoenix is a pretty good sports town it's demographic at games is just a bit different.

As far as the game itself. chicago's weakness is there defense. After the two allstars they are horrible. Johnny Oduya might be the worst defenseman I have ever seen. It's very rare for a guy to get the puck stolen from behind like Doan did to pick his pocket. you just dont see that in the NHL. In my beer leagues...Yes for sure.
Smith is also outplaying Crawford.

yeah i've never been a fan of a team going into that shell...especially a 1-3-1 where if you have two opponents behind the wingers, that zone is all messed up and out of shape.

i've never seen nash on center ice, but i always thought eddie dickhole was bad...i guess ill have to see next season how truly bad nash is if he's around.

as for your oduya comment, you must have missed andreas lilja play then lol but in all seriousness about oduya, he's better than hjalmarsson and leddy. he's putting too much pressure on himself due to our 5 & 6 guys being useless as hell (hjalmarsson and whoever he is with). both are turnover machines and slow as hell when having to react (see boedker gw goal in game 4). leddy thinks his **** doesn't stink because the brass thinks he is so good, like they did with hjalmarsson after the cup run. hjalmarsson has gone downhill big time since.

Lets just say the Black Hawk D is weak after the two allstars. I've noticed they get muscled off the puck frequently in there own zone.
I actually think hjalmarsson is the most physical of the rest of them and is pretty decent (just from my limited time watching him in the playoffs).

Any way I think tonight the Black hawks win and it goes back to chicago.

oh it is...hence why numbnuts who thinks the hawks will bring in ryan suter is illogical to the utmost degree. if we had a two guys like andrew ference as our #3 & #4 we'd be just fine, but hjalmarsson and leddy is like a 3rd pairing group playing out of place and it shows.

also hjalmarsson is rarely physical anymore. he only does it once in a great while.

American dreamer thought a rookie who has never sniffed any signifigant time in the NHL was going to make some sort of impact. He made a thread about it filled with accolades for this "all star".
American dreamer thinks the Hawks can somehow free up 40 million dollars to sign Suter.
American dreamer is out to lunch.

Also, I hope this series goes 7 games no matter who wins, it's been fun to watch.
