Bruins need to win Thursday and wrap it up on Saturday. Not that they will but it would be nice, as far as the Looch thing stupid would be taking a run at him. Dropping the gloves and making him look like an idiot would be better, holding on for dear life. Losing Looch for 2-3 games of the next series would be stupid for sure on his part.

I'd like to see some examples of all this head hunting by the Bruins because I have yet to see any of it.

Fluto saying Erskine might be in for Schultz next game. Let's hope so.

Erskine is exactly the type of defenseman that every team needs to have in the lineup in the playoffs. It's too bad Dale Hunter is an idiot.

I read somewhere that apparently Hunter and Erskine have issues with each other.

Erskine actually went public with it, so you know it's pretty bad. Expect Erskine to be on a different team next season (I hope it's the Flyers).

I read that too. However, you would THINK that Hunter would put aside his differences with a player when it comes down to trying to get his team to the Stanley Cup. Selfish asshole.

The Wideman and Shultz pairing has to be broken up. It is sickening watching those two try to play defense. Bruins third and fourth lines have abused them thus far.

Erskine would be an upgrade in the psychicality department but he skates almost as bad as Wideman. And Orlov seems to be out of position as much as Schultz when playing the Bruins.

I think the Bruins found their crack in Helms Deep and If I were them I would try to ride it to victory. Just match first two lines and stalemate, maybe go plus, then really take it to the Caps third defensive pairing. It is a massive drop off from their first two.

Erskine should be a regular player. Why he isn't playing is beyond me. It isn't like the Caps defense is that deep.

Here is to hoping Erks plays, i would expect a Lucic or Thornton matchup. To really give this series a kick start

Erskine practiced on the 3rd pair, replacing Schultz in the lineup.

I thought Erskine was injured, if not than Hunter is a fool for not having him in there sooner...He's the only guy on the Caps who can match up with Lucic or Thornton. I hope he plays, as that will certainly make things more interesting.

Look at the history. Lucic has certainly had his problems dealing with Erskine in the past. Big Johnny E is one of the few who have gotten over on him.

When they first fought in Lucic's rookie season in 2007, yes, Erskine beat him pretty soundly. However, when they rematched almost 3 years later, it was nothing but a solid draw.
It's remarkable how much Looch has matured as a fighter since he entered the NHL. Whereas early on he just swung like crazy and left himself prone all the time, every year since his rookie year he's become a little more sound and a little more technical, timing his punches and counterpunches, and just generally perfecting his style.

If they were to fight again in this series, I highly doubt Erskine would come out on top. At least not by a wide margin. It'd be a hell of a scrap though between two guys that know very well what they are doing.

Marchand does need to cut the sh*t. That play with Chirmera was overly dramatic.

Dale has that hockey philosophy "NEVER GO PUBLIC WITH YOUR DIRTY LAUNDRY" , what is said in the dressing room stays in the dressing room .

If you have a beef with him about ice time or anything else just talk to him about it , he is very approachable , if you go public you sit in the press box or the stands , he even sat some of his top players when he coached the London Knights and traded a few also for doing exactly that (going public about ice time) , you have to remember "HE IS THE BOSS " !!!!

He even sat one of his top players during the playoffs in their Memorial Cup run ..
