It's been a long time since the Kings made some noise in the playoffs. Good for them. And the fact they dispatched the whiny, pathetic Canucks...even better. No team featuring the Sedin sisters will ever win a Cup.

Nice job by the underdogs. It's been a long time since the Kings have made it to the second round. I wouldn't mind seeing the Kings win the West.

Congrats to the Kings!! Turmoil galore in Vancouver. The way some certain fans acted last spring after game 7,they deserve it . They are the most hated team in the league,by far.Good riddance!!!!

boy does the league love this.
LA being such a huge market tv ratings wise...is going to be needed for the NHL, especially if Boston, NYR, and Chicago get bounced! I still have my fingers crossed for Chicago, but the Bruins and Rangers are going to be tough come backs as well.. |

Great series from Quick and the Kings to oust the Canucks. LA might not score a ton, but Quick is playing unbelievably well, and the Kings have the personnel that have shown the ability to elevate their games to win in the postseason. They won't be an easy opponent for the Blues by any stretch.
As with everyone else (Canucks fans excluded), I'm thrilled to see an early exit to the playoffs for Vancouver. With Vancouver and Detroit out, all I need is the Sens to pull out game 7 over the Rangers and I'll be a very happy neutral fan from here on out.
