*Tue, Apr 24 in Los Angeles TBA
*Thu, Apr 26 in Vancouver TBA

Prediction:
This is a great matchup. The leagues best defense and vastly underrated goaltender in Los Angeles against the deep scoring depth of the Canucks. The bigger issue for the Kings is who is going to put the puck in Vancouver’s net? This team is offense starved, and while playoffs are generally low scoring dog fights, you still need to score a goal to win games, and the Kings have issues with that like no other team and definitely don’t do it consistently. I fully expect Quick to steal a game, maybe two, but that’s it, Canucks in 6.

Definitely an interesting matchup. Quick has been unbelievable this year, and he'll need to be to keep the Kings in this series with the much more offensively-talented Canucks.

Vancouver is under a ton of pressure with the ravenous media up there, and I have no doubt there will be a goaltending controversy for the Canucks before the series is over (at least more so than the one already in existence). I think the Kings can put a scare into them, and I'll be rooting like hell for them to pull off the upset, but I still think Vancouver is too good and takes this one in 6 games.

I don't see the LA Flyers winning this one. Canucks in 6.

Canucks in five or six. I hope the Kings win but I don't see that happening.

Unfortunately Vancouver takes this series in 5, too much scoring depth for LA to match

The Kings are going to win this series in 7 games. I have a feeling that the Kings' forwards are going to start scoring goals in the playoffs. The playoffs and the regular season are two completly different games. Luongo may choke also in a game 7.

I can't go against the Kings. Carter is due to return and if you have been following LA, they are a different scoring team with him in the lineup. They were at the top of GFs after the trade deadline and the power play improved as well. 2 different teams with & without Carter. If Quick can prove he can play in big games, LA has a chance.

Right before Carter went down to injury the Kings were on one of the best streaks in the league, if they get back to playing like that, they can be scary. GMs were saying they didn't want LA in the first round, so lets see if LA can pull of the upset.

LA in 6

i'm going with the Kings. i only know one dude in real life who actually sort of cares about hockey and he's a Kings fan.

plus the Canucks are a pathetic group of "men".

Kings in 6 after Bobby implodes.
