I don't know what to make of Corvo... He's got that nasty assault charge for kicking the **** out of some chick at a restaurant, but in interviews and whatnot he seems like a really genuine and transparent guy.

I also heard Schaefer was into it and that is part of the reason Murray got rid of him.

Im pretty sure it applies to anyone in professional sports, movies, tv etc. Cocaine is the drug of choice of most of them, enhances the partying and isnt cheap like weed/carried in your bloodstream for as long as weed. Not to mention its easier to conceal, they run into the club's bathroom, blow a line and run back out.

A lot of the player rumours in Edmonton mainly deal with guys cheating on their wives. The most recent and talked about is Pronger, which I don't believe. Mike Comrie slept with Salo's wife and I think Jason Chimera nailed his (underage?) babysitter.

A coke problem like that doesn't surprise me one bit. Edmonton is a small city where you're a star if you're an Oiler and there's no high class scene. So me and my buddies can bump into pretty much anyone when we go out. On top of that, there's not a whole lot to do here for a guy that rich looking for some fun. Just look at Fort McMurray. You've got all these guys making a lot of money working on the rigs and there's absolutely nothing to do there. The drug use there is insane.

Back to Torres, I guess his coke days originate in Brampton while playing in the OHL.

The whole thing that got me started on this thread was when I read rumours that Jock Martin wanted Redden back under his tutelage with the Panthers.

Onto Probert. He recently played in an oldtimers game here in St Thomas. A buddy of mine and his son got to go in the dressing room and meet the players before the game. He said Probert was all twitchy and couldn't keep still. He kept wiping his nose and licking his lips and bouncing during the warmup skate. Think maybe Probes got a little hit of snow before the game.

and yea redden is prlly a big coke head thats the roumor going around lloyd right now (where redden is from and where i live) people that know him say he seems way different kinda not all there... wouldnt surprise me on bit coke in lloyd is like weed everywhere else pretty much everyone is doin it and no one really cares haha (im clean tho) and also his game has started to slip big time wouldnt suprise me one bit you get people that get paid millions that come from a coke town something is deffinetly up.. then again maybe just to many concussions and shots to the head
