Was born in 1980 but Maurice Richard is my favorite player of all time.

Do you get to see a lot of his old footage living there?

If there is any.

Yup I got dvd's and vhs tapes of him and the dynastys. Quite a bit of stuff online (CBC Archives, You Tube, Google video, The Habs website...).

Amazing history!

To be honest there isn't much online, but I think there are some tapes you can buy... it's 1944 to 1960 though, it's pretty hard to get footage from these years.

Last game at the Montreal Forum - Maurice Rocket...

I realize most of you are younger guys but mine is easy #4 Bobby Orr.
He was the reason I started following hockey. The best ever.

Surprised none of the older Canadien fans picked Lafleur. He had that flair.
By the way just posted a picture of Guy getting mugged in the Old Farts thread.
One thing Guy didn't do is fight.

I always thought it would of been Eddie Giacomin until 1976 when Fotiu joined the Rangers!
I have to separate emotion from actually favorite hockey player for skills and unreal abilities!
My all-time favorite emotional player is Fotiu!
My all-time favorite actual player is Bobby Orr who I hated but respected! Man he killed my Rangers but he is my favorite player to watch and admire!
What a hockey player!
There will never be another Orr!

Lafleur was a great talent and scored 50 goals in 6 seasons in a row, but he was a finesse player and these players aren't my favorite at all.
