Jean Beliveau has to be mine, he was arguably the greatest captain of all time, and one of the true gentlemen of the game, but you knew that if you played against him he wasn't above going to be an easy game.... Oh and V12 Bi Trurbo, if you think Peter Forsberg was a better player and captain than Jean Beliveau, you are simply nuts... Beliveau is a top ten player of all time, yet probably the best of his generation....
Patrick Roy is a close second place to me, watched many of games were Patrick was the only player on the ice worth mentioning, yet he always seemed to get er done... Third has to be Chris Nilan, smaller fighter that never backed down, he went with everyone and anyone, win lose or draw Nilan was never afraid to go with someone, Stan Jonathan gets HM also..... |

It kills me not to say Bob Probert, but Mark Howe would be the one I would have to pick.

Cant decide right now but growing up it was Stephen Peat.

Bob Probert.
Greatest enforcer ever and could play the game better than any enforcer/tough guy/fighter in any era. Had a 62 point season with 398 penalty minutes. He could also hit like a freight train and was a great teammate. RIP Probie, you are definitely missed.

Bobby Nystrom followed by Randy McKay... kinda like 1a and 1b... unfortunately, I cannot pick just one... gun to the head, I would say Nystrom but it would have to be ready to go off (the gun)... lol. Cool question.
