Best Team Rivalry?
What two teams have the greatest rivalry in the NHL?
East:
1. Philly vs. Leafes
2. NY vs. NY
3. B's vs. Habs
West:
1. Wings vs. Avs
2. Hawks vs. Wings
3. Avs vs. 'Nucks
Those are either top 3 or top 5 rivalries, what would you rate as the top 3 in each conference?

I'd have to wait and see what happens this season with Philly and Ottawa to agree with that one, but other than that I agree with your opinion on all the other five. Good Call(s).

preds and wings is going to develop in the future.

leafs and sens... ray vs. domi for the 124464th time. great stuff.

col vs. det is going to lose some luster though with DMC gone from Detroit and really nothing left in terms of fighting for the wings. but who cares, still a great physical rivalry.

philly vs. toronto is going to be a sweet one now with the leafes getting E, i look for Hatcher to crush him once and end his season.

Wings vs Avs is hardly a rivalry anymore, maybe its still existing with the fans but not with the clubs. Its been pretty dead for years now.If you ask me its probably the most overrated right now.

Wings/Blackhawks is certainly no rivalry anymore either and the Wings/Preds 9 fight game was a total fluke!
