Crawford may have better stats, but I honestly don't believe the Hawks have the goalie advantage in this series. I also don't think Detroit has a better PP than Chicago, regardless of the good PP numbers against Anaheim. These are just a couple scenarios where stats don't tell the whole story, IMO.

Should be a good series... I picked the Wings to win it, but I'd be very shocked (and obviously, pleasantly surprised) if they pulled it off. The only way I see the Wings winning this series is if they catch the 'Hawks sleeping in the first couple games. I just think Chicago's too deep.

Either way, this season's been a success. It always feels good to knock the Ducks out of the playoffs, and as the underdog? Love it. Not bad for a team in transition, eh?

Unbelieavably excited for this. I have an intense hatred for the Wings and want to go through them and hoist a cup in the worst way. That would be absolutely delightful. I would also love to end their time in the West as soon as possible.

Going to be a good one.

Hawks in 6.

Howard has the edge in goal over Crawford/Emery (JMO). This will be the last time these two old fart franchises see each other in the playoffs in our lifetime.

Detroit forces 7 but 'Hawks win to face the Kings in the CF.

I got Detroit shocking the world in this one. Gonna split the first two, take care of business at home, and coast on the 3-1 series lead. Detroit in 6.

Chicago in 5. I feel like I'm being generous for Detroit.

Despite the low amount of toughness on both sides, I'm REALLY looking forward to this series.

As much as I hate them I have the Wings taking it. I expect Mule to put up good numbers and Datsyuk embarrassing defense man. Kaner is going to be on a coke so I fully expect him not to do much but skate lightning fast.
