dumb thread. the whole idea that visor's make players less tough is BS. players wear visors to protect their eyes from pucks and sticks, it has nothing to do w/ fighting or toughness.

there's a legit beef to be had if a player doesnt ditch his lid if he has time to before a fight, but playing w/ a visor is completely fine.

To be fair, Throwdown put this in the NHL Chat forum (non fighting) and didn't mention anything about lack of toughness...

Toronto:
Colton Orr
Mike Brown
Mike Komisarek
Mark Fraser (although he might)
Not sure if Lupul does or not. I wanna say no...

Lupul and Fraser do.

I agree with Philly 100%. Although if your gonna be a known fighter, id take it off. Kyle Clifford is a good example, he came in the league knowing he was gonna fight and ditched it.

None the less as far as curiosity goes...

Kyle Brodziak
Ryan Suter
Matt Kassian
Clayton Stoner
Zenon Konopka

Falk put on one half way last year.

Nick Palmieri usually ditches it if he is up. But if he is gonna be a baby, and throw tantrums and not report to where he is assigned then you can cross him off our lineup.

His remark that "the numbers are declining" is obviously a negative comment about visors. Once I saw Chris Pronger take a stick to the eye last season, my view dramatically changed. No one should risk the health of the only pair of eyes he'll ever have if he doesn't want to. The cornea has the highest density of nerve endings in the entire body. I'd wear two visors if it was allowed! I see nothing wrong with a player wearing a visor unless he has time to remove his helmet before a fight and he doesn't. Then it should be removed out of respect for his opponent.

This was the injury Pronger suffered. I remember hearing his screams of pain live and how my blood chilled.

P.S. Really? How is this a thread to start a visor debate. Good lord. I've always been in interested in how many players on each team wears visors and who does and doesn't so that is merely why this thread is here i think.

Philly Fan seems like the guy who would wear a full cage when he plays.

Lets keep this on topic. Leave the debate on what wearing a visor means about someone's manliness to elsewhere. Its interesting to see how many people still go without one...

Devils

David Clarkson
Cam Janssen
Krys Barch

The only guys that could possibly get called up from the minors that don't wear visors are Tim Sestito and Alexander Urbom.
