That could turn out to be a great move for the Mooseheads. Just the type of player they needed.

Need to bring in a D and maybe a back-up goalie but that is a solid move.

I guess Ciampini may be on the block now.

He didn't travel on the bus to PEI. He was always going to be the odd one out if a move for an overager was made.

He might not get dealt and play college hockey or Jr A instead. Probably only a few teams he'd consider moving to in the Q.

I heard a Quebec based team has been interested in him for a while.

MacAulay scored 3 points last night against the Mooseheads, a day later he's traded to them. He is a solid addition to the team.

No need for a back up goalie. Fucale is a work horse and Chris Clarke is a sufficient back up. As for their D i think it's good enough right now. The have the fewest goals against and don't give up many shots against. Not to mention they can play run and gun style hockey with any team in the CHL. They are also the highest scoring team in the CHL even without having their 3 first line forwards for the last 3 weeks. Both Duke and Weeger have been solid of late so that softens the blow of losing Gillard. They can go with the following pairings.
Abeltshauser - Lewis
Weegar - Gazzola
Hardie - Duke
Lovell

Gillard has been their best defensive D, most physical D too.

He doesn't get beat much 1 on 1. A move needs to come in defensively.

mooseheads storngest team in the CHL hands down.

drouin, mackinnon, ashley, fournier, frk, ciampini, boudreault, abeltshauser, now maccaulay.

but i dont think fucale is that good hes more like aq product of a powerfull team. he'll be good in 1-2 yrs but actually hes average, which is still good for a 1995.

I wouldn't include Ciampini. I think Ryan is better. Ciampini is a bad skater and seems to have a weak shot. 1 goal in 20 games will seem him bumped off 2nd line.

What's your team habsfan1122?

Danault to Moncton

Quote:
Price for Danault: Gabriel Gagne, 2014 1st, 2015 1st, 2014 Euro 1st and 2015 2nd. Have to think futures also involved (Barbashev).

Chicoutimi Saguenéens’ goaltender Francis Desrosiers and centre Jérémy Grégoire were traded to the Baie-Comeau Drakkar in return for Thomas Gobeil and Loïk Léveillé as well as the first round picks of 2013 and 2014.
