Well for a start he's two years from the AHL because he can't play there until his 20-year-old season.
Offensive D-man who can QB a powerplay. His main drawback is his skating and his defensive play.
He's the most NHL ready of all the Q dmen taken (9) in the draft but he's realistically probably 4 or 5 years away from the NHL and he needs to work on his play in his own end.
Playing on a weak team didn't help him last season where he was forced into being the #1 dman at 17.
Not very physical and don't expect any fights out of him but he's a safe pick.
