Gingras Suspended Three Games

SAINT JOHN, Wednesday, November 19, 2008 – The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League disciplinary prefect today suspended Drummondville Voltigeurs forward Mathieu Gingras for three games.

The suspension follows an incident that occurred in last Saturday's game in which Gingras charged an opposing player.

The decision was rendered after reviewing the videotape of the incident and consulting all concerned parties.

In accordance with the QMJHL policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, the Disciplinary Prefect will not be available for further comment.
