Greyhounds Acquire Jacob Smith From Frontenacs

Soo Greyhounds GM Kyle Dubas announced Friday afternoon that the club has completed a trade with the Kingston Frontenacs.

In the deal the Hounds acquire LC JACOB SMITH in exchange for Sault Ste. Marie's 14th Round selection in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection.

Smith, originally Kingston's 7th Round selection in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection appeared in 58 games for the Fronts one season ago. The Sudbuy, ON native tallied 1 goal and 6 assists during that time.

During the 2010-11 season, Smith appeared in 61 games for the Sudbury Wolves Minor Midgets tallying 38 goals and 32 assists, good for 70 points along with 44 minutes in penalties.
