Just got this in my inbox a few minutes ago. Also ordered my tickets. It is hosted by Brad May (according to what I heard) and says there will be a number of "NHL Stars". I don't know exactly what you want to call May (I certainly wouldn't call him a "star" LOL) but I'm curious to see who else will be there.

I'll have to wear my May jersey that night.

Thanks to Brad May and Ron Toigo, majority owner of the Vancouver Giants there's going to be a joint hockey game on Sunday, December 12th, 2004 - game time 5:00pm. Brad May has put together a 22 man roster including 6 Vancouver Canucks as well as other NHLers he has befriended during his career in the league that will take on the Vancouver Giants at the Pacific Coliseum. The game will consist of two halves, the first half will feature the Giants taking on the Pros and the second half will be mixed play between the two rosters.

The curtain at the Coliseum will be lifted and the full 16,123 seat capacity will be used with full proceeds going to Canuck Place thanks to the PNE offering the Coliseum completely rent free. Tickets go on sale starting tomorrow (Oct. 14th, 2004) and will be between $18 - $24. Giants Season Ticket Holders get priority seating starting today.

Players included:
Brad May
Matt Cooke
Ed Jovanovski
Dan Cloutier
Brent Sopel
*Todd Bertuzzi
*Shane Doan

....the other 15 players will be named later.

*may or may not play depending on personal circumstances

Players will be accessable before and after the game for autographs.

Sounds great. I'm pretty excited now. Doan will be there as well I see. Or maybe since he has that * by his name. Well in that case I guess I'll have to wear my Phoenix hat as well.

Agreed.

Although it would be nice to see May and Grant hook up.

Thought I read/heard Turco or Kolzig will also be playing, but they might have changed their plans. Also thought I read there were 34 players committed to the event, if true, where are they all going to sit?
