Thunderbirds Trade Reid Fritzke to Broncos

KENT — Seattle Thunderbirds general manager Russ Farwell today announced the team has traded list defenseman Reid Fritzke to the Swift Current Broncos for a conditional 5th round bantam draft pick.

Fritzke is currently playing for the Swift Current Legionnaires midget team. He has four goals and seven assists in 26 games this season with the Legionnaires.

Fritzke was selected by the T-Birds in the eighth round, 159th overall, in the 2012 Bantam Draft. He attended T-Birds training camp prior to this season.

I noticed in the press release it said this deal went through on the 14th. I was gonna say, the Christmas trade freeze went into effect on Saturday.
