When does the HF top 10 come out? Mahon has to be in the top 5 for heavies. The combo at the end was a beauty.

Mahon is easily in the top 5. The only two players I would rank higher than him are Doty and Ferland. And that isn't to say I don't believe he wouldn't have a chance of beating either guy. It's mainly due to longevity and previous success in the league.

Has Ferland even fought yet this year? I've been checkin for it constantly! Maybe he's savin it for the mem cup!

No, but not for lack of trying. He was begging a few guys from Edmonton (Moroz and Lowe) and just the other night he tried to get Dale to drop the mitts to no avail. Doesn't seem like anybody wants to fight him. Which is really sad because a few years ago Ferland wouldn't even be considered a top 5 guy. Yet nowadays he's considered "elite". Anything can happen, but I wouldn't be surprised if his fight first doesn't come until Saskatoon plays Medicine Hat on February 16th. Assuming both Ferland and Doty are healthy of course.
