I for one will definetly be there. Im going to go ahead and asume both Dougherty and Nason will be dressed, cause the are battling for the enforcer spot on the team. I feel there is a good chance that the Pats will probably keep Nason, because he can skate and hadle the puck much better than Dougherty...but he also draws more penelties than Britt. Nason reminds me alot of Ryan Thomas...his size and style of game play is very similar. He will be a great agitator. We'll have to wait and see what happens with them though.
I hoping to see Dougherty or Nason take on someone tonight...see how Nason looks. I've only gotton the chance to see Britt and Kyle go at the blue and whit game...and Nason faired very well. I want to see him against someone else. |

Knowing Parker, he'll probably keep both. Dougherty can battle the heavyweights (I predict he'll be number one in the East) and has size going for him while Nason can put up points and will be an agitator who is not afraid to drop the mitts. I can see Dougherty being released IF Nason had his size but, unfortunately, he doesn't and I can't see him standing in there with the other heavies of the league.

Unfortunately, nothing really to report from tonight's game. Only fireworks were when Bruce ran from the blue line and blatantly kneed Kyle Deck. Waschuk jumped in there as there was a little scrum and didn't even end up with Bruce but Schaefer (?) and it was nothing but a wrestling match. Also, PA is actually in for a tough year. Two Pats players ran Sorochan and the first time Guathier jumped in and gave the first guy a little bit of a rub and then the second time, nobody touched Rypien. Chipchura and Byers were in most of the scrums but they are really hurting for a heavyweight.

After watching tonights game, im starting to wonder if both Dougherty and Nason will be kept. They play differently, and Kyle didnt really impress me tonight. He acouple good hits, but that was it. I can see Nason being like Thomas 2 years ago, and Dougherty being Kaczowka...same idea. They both were fighters, but Thomas played the puck more and was an awsome agitator, and Kaz was around to f*** sh*t up...lol. Nason is alot smaller than I thought too. He's smaller than Thomas was. Its depends who else they are going to be cutting. Dougherty actually looked fairly good out there tonight...handling the puck a bit better, and rally getting into the play. I think he knows the threat Nason brings to him, and he wants that spot. I can see Nason getting dropped yet. Again, we'll have to wait and see.
