Rebels Acquire Austin Ferguson from Rockets

RED DEER, AB – Brent Sutter, Owner/President/General Manager of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today the team has acquired 17-year old forward Austin Ferguson from the Kelowna Rockets in exchange for a conditional 6th round pick in the 2013 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.

Ferguson is in his second season in the WHL. He has 4 career points (1-3-4) in 58 career WHL games. Ferguson was a 10th round pick of the Rockets in the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft.
