Raiders Recall Nick McBride

Prince Albert SK – Prince Albert Raiders have recalled goaltender Nick McBride from the Vancouver North East Chiefs of the British Columbia Major Midget Hockey League.

The 15-year-old Maple Ridge, BC native is off to a 6-3-0 start while recording a 3.11 goals against average.

The 6’3”, 180-pound net minder was drafted by the Raiders in the 2nd round, 23rd overall in the 2012 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.

McBride backstopped the Burnaby Winter Club to a Western Canadian Bantam AAA Championship in 2011-2012, earning Top Goaltender honours in the tournament.

McBride joins the team today and will be with the club through the weekend.
