I figured Edmonton would beat Brandon without much of a problem but I certainly didn't see Moose Jaw sweeping Medicine Hat. That was very surprising. Although I'm happy as I'd prefer to see the Warriors move on.

Moose Jaw and Edmonton is going to be a good series. It's always good to see two teams near the top of the list in fighting majors meet up late in the playoffs.

At least we know it'll likely be a rough one, fighting or not!

A big night for hockey tomorrow night with 2 game 7's as well! I'm gonna stick to my guns and go loops and tri!

Round three predictions

Eastern Conference Championship:

(2) Moose Jaw Warriors vs Edmonton Oil Kings (1) - Oil Kings in seven.

Western Conference Championship:

(2) Portland Winterhawks vs Tri-City Americans (1) - Winterhawks in seven.

I wish both Warriors and Oil Kings could advance. I like both teams and I'm rooting for whichever team wins this series to win it all. Two hard nosed teams that play the game the right way. I give the edge to Edmonton in this series mostly because they have more fire power and better goaltending, IMO. But these two teams match up pretty well. It could go either way.

Normally I would have picked Tri-City to beat Portland. But for some reason I've changed my mind. I still have little faith in Carruth but I just have a gut feeling Portland will win. Goaltending and defense will be key here. Both teams have tons of fire power.

sh*t, loops are out! If tri makes it, i'll go for them, but if it's portland, I'll take moose jaw or edmonton.

Edmonton in the finals against Tri!

I'm thinkin Tri and Portland will go to 6 or 7 though.

These are just feelings as I haven't watched any of these teams this year other than Tri, who looked pretty good coming through the CN Centre this year. See what happens!
