EIHL Suspends Chris Frank One Game for Match Penalty

Sheffield Steelers defenceman Chris Frank has been handed a one-match ban by the Rapid Solicitors Elite League disciplinary committee.

Frank was given a match penalty for excessive roughness in the third period (59:59) of his side's Challenge Cup match at Dundee Stars last night (Thursday 24th January 2013).

After a mandatory review by the disciplinary committee, the penalty has been upheld but there will be no further punishment.

Frank will now miss Sheffield's Elite League match at home to Cardiff Devils tomorrow (Saturday 26th January 2013).
