I could see Zakharchuk's ***** all the way from the USA. Wow. You can't throw a HUGE hit like that and NOT expect a fight afterward. I guess that's why he plays in Russia.

Too quiet
Can someone explain to me why the Russian league is so quiet with F.M.'s. I would have thought with some of the characters playing there would be more fire works. Yablonski with 0 F.M.'s just to name one guy.??

thought the same myself but I believe that they added a new rule for goon or something.

No rules for goons, just not too many guys willing to fight. Vityaz used to be the main fighting event in KHL previous years, but since owners/coach/GM 've changed they become below average KHL team with no guts ! Yabo & Gillies don't fit new soft euro ***** style of Vityaz, so they not playing.
