Sherbrooke Saint-Francois VS Trois-Rivieres Caron&Guay. Each games had 8-9 fights that season. EACH game there was at least a line brawl.

I was there and the friend I was with got a hockey stick in the face and he sued Trois-Rivieres coach for that.

in the 90s in the echl it had to be hampton Roads Admirals va Richmond renegades and hampton roads admirals vs greensboro monarchs

HR (now norfolk in the A) and richmond were separated by 90 miles and were just as many fights in the stands as on the ice.

hr and greensboro was just nasty with the hatred of the 2 coaches to each other. ! game had a bench clearing on the opening face off. this game greensboro brought in a couple of guys to fight that did not know how to skate

no video exists as far as i know, but Pensacola - Mobile from the ECHL in the late 90s was amazing. The arenas were 45 minutes away from each other, and Tuesday night games between the two teams would sell out. One of the most fun things I've ever seen in hockey.

In the 1990's, SI did an article on the Top 10 Sport Rivalries for all sports and the Admirals vs Renegades were in there. It was nothing to see 7,8,9 fights a game between the two teams.

This thread can't be a thread without the Phantoms and Bears specifically the late 90's. I'm also pretty sure that in the early 90's Cornwall and Hershey also had a pretty nasty rivalry. The 80's Rochester and Hershey had some dandy's as well.
