I'm interested to see how they do, and I'm wondering what their lines will look like.

Ladd - Antropov - Kane
Wheeler - Little - Fehr?
Maxwell? - Burmistrov - Thorburn
Rypien - Cormier - Glass

Enstrom - Byfuglien
Hainsey - Bogosian
Stuart - Jones
Oduya

Pavelec
Mason

They don't seem to have someone to go onto the 2nd line, maybe I just don't see it

Slater is 100x the player Stapleton is, and he's one of the better centers in the league, especially on the 4th line.

Stapleton, unless he dramatically improves his game, is a career AHLer. Plus he's like 5'6 and has no business being on the 4th line.

Gotta do your roster studying

The only problem with Jimmy is that he hasn't skated since Thanksgiving (at least when the season was going) due to his PCS.

I don't see Bogosian signing in Winnipeg.

I'll take concussed Jimmy over Stapleton any day . I don't hate the guy I just think he belongs in the big show until he can get his skills up.

Yeah, I originally had Slater there, until I saw the post about his injury.

I was actually surprised to see Stapleton in the NHL with Atlanta. They acquired him from Toronto in the Exelby/Kubina swap, so I had seen him play with the Marlies. I agree with your assessment, I just didn't know exactly who to replace him with if Slater is still injured by opening night.

Stapleton shows signs of being a good fourth line center, but he's not consistent enough.

Should be a decent line-up, with the strength on D.

I'll be a Flyers fan till the end but pretty stoked to have the Jets back. Especially playing in the East, already got tix to one game, still looking for the other.

How funny...All this talk about Winnipeg getting the Trash, and yet there was more talk on this board about this team when they were in Atlanta....
