Yup Cape Cod is in shambles currently. They only have 5 original players in the lineup tonight. We'll have to see what happens with them after this weekend.

I bought the game hoping for Fraser vs Dill, but it's just hilarious! Fraser left the game in the first.

At least Dill is one of the 5 original Bluefins playing tonight. Too bad he doesn't have the balls to drop 'em with Pisano.

The game is 13-3 and Danbury is just dumping the puck in. Pisano just really hit a guy. It was a bit classless on his part for that move...

I don't follow this sport close enough to know anymore but what's the status of the league in general? I had high hopes for the league when it first started and even watched a couple games online but after seeing all the suspensions and seeing the games barely average 1 fight per game I figured it was just another crappy north american hockey league and lost interest. From the fight clips I watch it seems attendence is pretty poor everywhere but Danbury.

I for the life of me can't understand why no league wants to embrace the physical and violent nature of the sport that makes hockey so great, is it better to go out of business than give the fans what they want to see?
