Tons of fights between Danville and Williamsport tonight in the 2nd period. Also, a huge crowd, north of 2500 I hear at Williamsport's outdoor rink.

My friend insists that 1632 figure is wrong. He said it was by far the biggest crowd since opening night (3300). We were both were both there this past Wednesday (1100), and he said it was easily double that and much closer to opening night. Multiple sections filled that hardly had more than a handful of people in it on Wednesday. I couldn't make it tonight as I'm posting from work right now, but I trust his judgement.

Maybe there were some freebie giveaways and 1632 was the paid number, but there were no promotions that I am aware of. Even so.. For the FHL, that's a pretty good number (Only Danbury averages atleast 1000 I think) and we are outside in 35-40 degrees right now. I think the chances of a small ice arena (2500-3000 seat) eventually getting built in Williamsport are pretty good.
