FHL Dashers announce 2012-13 roster

DANVILLE, IL -- On Saturday the Danville Dashers, proud members of the Federal Hockey League, will open their 2012-2013 campaign. On Monday the Dashers released their opening night roster.

Danville opens up the ’12-’13 campaign with a home and home series with the Dayton Demonz. The second leg is the home opener for the Dashers at 2:35pm on Sunday at the David S. Palmer Arena.

11 of the 21 current Dashers wore the Black and Gold last season, including leading scorer Justin Barr (21 G, 49 pts). Also returning is last season’s captain, leader in penalty minutes and fights Chris Affinati (156 PIM).

The Dashers’ roster sits at 21 skaters, including 12 forwards, 6 defenseman, and 3 goaltenders.
