I can confirm ESPN report Jack Parker is indeed announcing his retirement as BU hockey coach tomorrow, per a source close to him.

Parker is a legend. I'll never forget seeing Jack's BU team in Hanover, NH against Dartmouth in '94 when he had Drury, Greer, and a new other already drafted pro prospects. Had a jersey hanging for the kid who had his neck broken in a game the year prior. BU has had some down years with the whole hazing stuff, less than perfect recruiting, it will be difficult to replace Parker.
