Bluefins' schedule on hold

Quote:
The Cape Cod Bluefins of the Federal Hockey League have suspended play for at least the next three games amid discussions the team will be leaving Cape Cod.

President and general manager Mike Nugnes said a game in Williamsport, Pa. Thursday, as well as home games Friday and Saturday at Moore Arena in Orleans will not be played. Nugnes said the team was meeting with FHL officials Tuesday, but was reluctant to provide further details.

Hope they find a home for them. They already rescheduled Dayton to come to Williamsport on Thursday night.

Drawing 300 people is just awful. You could see it coming from a mile away. Cape Cod was always a terrible place for a team. Tourist towns do not draw for sports.

I hope Danville can somehow finish the season as well. They are drawing nothing but flies too.
