dunno why canada brought that murray kid and played him 4 or 5 mins today.. but w/e. I wasnt impressed with canadas roster, aside from getz, perry, and a few others. I didnt like the D choices, and I thought US was even worse. We'll see how they bounce back.

Big Game for Italy tomorrow, I think they have a chance against the Danes, although not a big one. I'm hoping their goaler stands on his frickin head, and they squeak by with a win! Nothing better than getting up early to watch hockey!

wtf is up with the bird mascot? I will admit that I think it's actually a pretty good/funny mascot.

well good game so far for Italy. 3-3 with the Danes heading in the 3rd. I'm impressed today, Italy's showing some good speed and getting under the Danes skins. Hope they can pull it out in the 3rd.

BIG upset for the italians! 4-3 win in OT. Guilio Scandella can f-in fly, wow. Guilio got the puck at his own blue, skated past two Danes, and one of the defense on the danes changed so it ended up a 2 on 1 for Italy, and he snuck in a shot to win the game! Might be their only win, but it could be the difference between relegation and staying up top!

Team Finland looking good so far against Slovakia Skating well, good passes and hits well. Only problem seems to be defense and its not surprise. 1-0 after first.

I am watching Slovakia vs Finland, Slovakian powerplay sucks MAJOR balls, forwards did not pass the puck to Chara single time, he´s just standing there at the blue line getting no passes!! Give him the ****ing puck so he can make hole through the goalie..jeez

Finland won 1-0. Second period was bad, but in third we found our skates again. Lots of scoring changes, but no goals. Chara was pissed about getting hit so many times

Refs just stole an OK game tying goal from Denmark against team Russia. Denmark bench and crowd going crazy I dont blame ´em

Russians score one minute later and Malkin gets hammered to the boards I hope there will be a fight

Ha! Thats how they prevent opposing players to get the passes in the French league. They just head shot them. That guy is lucky he´s not playing in the NHL he would get 30 games.

ouuuuch that's gotta hurt... wouldnt be surprised if hes gone from the tourny

Italy is the only team with no NHL experience... I just figured out today that in IIHF you can have 20 players on the bench vs. 18 for the NHL. Can't believe I didn't notice that until today lol

norway and czechs tied near the end of one. I doubt norway can keep it up, but they've kept it close against sweden and russia.... so who knows

update- Sacha Treille has been suspended 4 games for his hit to the head

May be Czech league not French
According to http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/p....php?pid=93478 he played in Czech two last seasons.
