A few thoughts...

Am I the only one who (a) disagrees with Knuble being a healthy scratch?
(b) Realizes his top performances have always come while playing on the top scoring lines?

Also, Seeing as how the team cant string together wins, and is playing the literal "toughest" part of its schedule(games v. Philly, NYR, Boston etc.) Can we please put Rechlicz in the lineup at some point? IMO it beats having other AHL lifers like Jay Beagle and Keith Aucoin playing on premium lines.

I mean honestly, Hamrlik IS Erskine, minus being able to fight. And Erskine doesnt whine.

As for the goalies.... Neuvirth is ok in my book. I've always liked Holtby. To be honest I was kinda hoping for a Varlamov/Holtby duo this year. Nothing against Vokoun, but I would've paid Varly over him.

please tell me i'm not the only long suffering Caps fan(or DC sports fan) on this sight. I just felt some of this stuff needed to be out there.
