SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Minnesota Wild
President and General Manager Doug Risebrough today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned LW Benoit Pouliot
(pronounced BEHN-wah POO-lee-ott) to the Houston Aeros
of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Pouliot, 20 (9/29/86), was originally recalled by Minnesota on November 21 and made his NHL debut the following night at Montreal. The 6-foot-3, 188-pound forward skated in three games with the Wild and recorded one shot and logged 6:58 in average ice-time. The Alfred, Ontario-native was originally selected by Minnesota with the fourth overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft
