Here's something I will never understand. An enforcer will go out looking to stir things up and ask the opposition's enforcer to fight, but they won't oblige. Well, if I'm the guy looking so badly to fight I'm gonna take a run at the opposing team's star player, thus forcing the other enforcer to fight me. Simple as that, yet I NEVER see this happen. It's not rocket science. If I want to fight, and my request gets declined, I run guys that entire shift. Forget about if it's a blowout. In that case I will purposely rough up the best player on the ice my entire shift. Makes me wonder if guys want to fight as badly as they make it appear. Almost seems like they'll ask, knowing the opposing player will decline, and then they can act like they did their job. It's pathetic. You put me on the ice and I'll get the other team's enforcer to fight me in under a minute.
