Guys from the past, all you see are highlights and good times, it's hard to compare. I have no idea if that makes sense or not, lol.
I just think today's Klitchko is about as perfect a boxer you can get, but the heavyweight division does suck these days, so the level of competition is a very valid point.
To BIG JACK, all I can say is I agree size isn't everything, but Klitchko is very fast, athletic and agile for a guy 6'7".
Klitchkos are very big and fundamental to me. They do not appear fast to me. Wlad or Vitali can have a nice reach adv on Ali, but Ali would be flicking jabs staying in the pocket on these guys all night.
I think Wlad and Vitali both have power, but nothing more than any of the previous guys I mentioned. Thier KO's come from wearing their opponents down. Good luck wearing those fighters down, esp the ones that fought in the 15 rd era. They were horses and this is not to say the Klits don't posses that ability, it is just unknown.
I really think its sad and in many ways unfair to the Klits because we won't know what they would have been have they been tested against the competition the guys previously mentioned were tested against.
