A division was split up in each conference, and the teams had to go somewhere.
As for the Rangers, I just think it's hilarious you actually think the NHL should have split up the Atlantic division, whose teams have been in the same division forever. But, anything to make sure Bruins fans are satisfied. #1 priority these days.
Then reality washes over you and you realize there are 29 other teams in the league, too.
Ill offer you a trade, both Florida teams for Columbus and Washington?
Geographically, it would make sense to have the two Florida teams with the Atlantic division. Unless they plan on moving the Panthers to Quebec....
The Atlantic division made out like bandits in this realignment.
