I've seen many vids of his fights and that's why I consider him top 15
All-time. He took on EVERYBODY.

Who knows, he might still be playing had he not used Brashear's head like he was in a batting cage at an amusement park.
MM kept himself in great shape and was just such a throwback, there just weren't too many like him.
I have some hateful memories of him from the Oiler days, seeing him, Messier, and company win cups while my Flyers had to watch, it was very frustrating to say the least I guess because the Oilers were so damn good AND they had plenty of toughness.
I have Marty ranked pretty high on my top 50, I think he earned it even if he didn't win every fight, he ALWAYS gave 100% and gave his opponent all he could handle. He never seemed to win real big or lose real big and had some truly epic fights, wars on the ice, and made himself into a good hockey player to boot. He deserves all the credit in the world even if you don't like him.
