I remember Stanley from those mid late 80s Flyer teams, he was a guy who who seemed like he never could stick with the Flyers for a long time for whatever the reason. He was a damn good scrapper from what i remember and the clips showed it, those mid 1980s Flyer teams were just SO MUCH FVCKING ENTERTAINING and FUN TO WATCH!! GAAAAWD DAMN!
PS - On a sidenote, it always seemed that the Winnipeg Jets were a graveyard for enforcers or at least 'unfriendly' to them. There is a poster on this site (Q88?) who is a VERY VERY BIG Jets fan, the guy has made some fantastic posts about the Jets and lack of toughness as a organization back in those days
Is that the poster? anyone chime in?

Srehm has the right of it... For those who aren't aware of who Rush is, he's an old school guy from Western Canada who grew up as a Habs fan. He's not nearly as active as he was years ago (few are!) but he has a very thorough knowledge of the game. To tell you the kind of guy he is, when my old man got sick years ago, he mailed me a bunch of Habs stuff at his own expense. Just a top notch guy. As Srehm mentioned he's the Corson expert poster par excellence.
Q-88 is a great poster as well but I think he's based out of Winnipeg, and is a Jets fan. It would be tremendous to have either or both guys back posting. Winter-peg, though far from my favorite city (see signature), has had more than a few tough guys ply their trade there.
