Are you saying that because they are similar in size that Chara should just do what he typically does and wrestle Scott down, or are you suggesting he stand in and trade punches?

...what I'm saying is -- as team LEADER and CAPTAIN it's his DUTY to take-on Scott. As home-team, the Bruins had the last move on the face-off, yet Thornton was offered-up as "sacrificial lamb" in this mis-match!
The game was decided in the first two minutes as a result of this fight -- single-handedly beaten by a player who CAN'T shoot,...CAN'T score,...CAN'T pass,...CAN'T skate. Chara's "minutes-played" meant ABSOLUTELY nothing if they aren't productive --- THIS was the opportunity for ANY captain to "step-up."
