The Corson, Rivet,Koivu points are somewhat mute at this point and both are one time isolated incidents. It's clear the kid has some issues and his teammates have acted upon it both verbally and physically.
That 's not to say he couldn't turn things around in Montreal and become a star defenseman!
They didnt sign him long term for the same reason they didnt with guys like Price, and we know how valuable Price is to the team.
What other 22 year old do the Habs have that can eat up 25 plus minutes a game? If Markov goes down, he's great to have around.
