I never singled out "the majority", "the minority" or any other specific group of posters on here. Nor can any specific group be inferred from my original post, other than "any poster who held/holds the belief that Scott is/was the NHL heavyweight champ", period. You're the one who inaccurately perceived my posts to be directed at current Buffalo fans, despite my neither explicitly nor implicitly suggesting it. If you believe I'm wrong about this, please show me where I either said or even implied it.


I just remembered that you're a Buffalo fan. Now I realize why this might be a bone of contention for you. I have no objection to clarifying that this particular brand of Scott homerism only occurred (to my knowledge) when Scott was playing for Chicago, but I believe the links I've posted (above) pretty clearly speak for themselves.

My issue was that you made a link between what was virtually one poster (BigArms) hyping Scott two teams and over a year ago and his loss to Orr as a Sabre. I appreciate your clarification.
