The Flyers started flat and it cost them 2 goals. It could be 4-0, but the space cadet has made some solid saves. The Flyers picked up the play near the end of the 1st.
I thought playing against a bitter rival would have been enough to shake off the rust, but the Flyers haven't looked that good so far. The constant penalties have killed any chance of either team building momentum, too. Hopefully they wake up a bit in the 2nd, but they definitely looked like they started controlling the play toward the end of the 1st.
On a side note, glad to see Eric Wellwood really making his presence known in this game.
