There really is no such thing as a goon anymore in junior hockey. I'd compare him to Proft. Probably a better fighter (although that doesn't say a whole lot). He's willing, but he'd get crushed by the tougher guys in the division. That said, this day and age, I'd welcome the guy on my team.
