how do you all know that he "got away with murder?" none of you were there. kind of a ridiculous thing to say. it's probably more likely that he initially covered for his friends' terrible act. sounds crazy but i'm sure a lot of us would do the same for a good friend in the heat of the moment. i will in no way condone his actions but it is no where near paying to get away with murder.
regardless of what you may think of him as a person, IMO ray lewis is the most consistently fierce competitor i have seen play any professional sport in my lifetime. his intensity level is always sky high and he plays at nothing but 100%. if you view his career from purely an effort involved in performance standpoint, there is no comparison to any other athlete IMO.
