It is very resonant and bassey. Nice n' loud. Of course, with no finish you have to be very careful about scratches, but I think it allows a truer sound. There is no pick guard either, but it is really sharp looking.

Sorry man I just saw your post. That's a beaut! It sounds loud because the strings are threaded through the end of the bridge instead of pinned down from inside the guitar and threaded through the top. From what I understand this makes the guitar louder.
