I always get a bit preachy and/or sentimental. No matter your personal take on Jesus (a lot of my friends are jewish for example), his life is the ultimate example of many things including the impact or importance our fleeting time here can have. The best teacher and example of all to follow.

That said, one of the nice things about the holiday season is how people try harder to be a little nicer to one another. I hope you all try to follow suit as i will myself. I wonder how much we could change the world with little things.

To lighten up, wasn't it "platoon" where this great observation takes place? "Hey O'neill, you got your whole life to be an asshole, why don't you take today off"

Anyway, i just wanted to wish everyone and their loved ones only the very best for the holidays and the coming year.

I always enjoy reading your posts and you are a big part of why this section is the best as ILB stated so correctly.

I always learn something new coming on here. I know many of our posters have differing viewpoints on many of the fighters and events from the past but that is what makes things GREAT! It would be a very dull world if everyone liked vanilla!

I wish for everyone to have a GREAT holiday but be prepared to be back next year with YOUR INSIGHT on hockey from the past, the best of times for us all!!!
