I just wanted to wish everyone here the very best of holiday seasons to you and yours. This serves a double purpose as i like to do this thread and this way i can avoid multiple PM's
My good friends all know i wish them well...............and that's quite a few...............which makes me lucky.
I always get a bit preachy and/or sentimental. No matter your personal take on Jesus (a lot of my friends are jewish for example), his life is the ultimate example of many things including the impact or importance our fleeting time here can have. The best teacher and example of all to follow.
That said, one of the nice things about the holiday season is how people try harder to be a little nicer to one another. I hope you all try to follow suit as i will myself. I wonder how much we could change the world with little things.
To lighten up, wasn't it "platoon" where this great observation takes place? "Hey O'neill, you got your whole life to be an asshole, why don't you take today off"
Anyway, i just wanted to wish everyone and their loved ones only the very best for the holidays and the coming year.
