Yeah,that's the right way to go. Best idea if parents let the children figure it out on their own but don't denie it if they ask.
To answer the thread question, hmmm... maybe early elementary school? I remember being devasted finding out he's not real. ha. That's cruel that a 13 year old still is believing, she's going to be messed up psychological when the truth comes out. I feel bad, I would tell her now Phila. Better you than in front of her friends.
