Prediction time!

Magee/Kessler = KO win for Kessler. Too much of a difference in class. Magee having a belt is a joke, and he'll be hammered out like the B-rate club fighter he is.

Walters/Prescott = who cares. It's a fight for a "title" simply because the WBA wants another guy who fights primarily in Panama to have a title. **** the fight.

There is some solid action in England though. James DeGale and Darren Barker both will be on the cards.

Onto the HBO PPV card...
-Javier Fortuna (20-0, 15 KOs) vs. Patrick Hyland (27-0, 12 KOs) - for vacant WBA interim featherweight title
*Prediction*
Give me Fortuna by decision. Hyland has a good chin, and can take some shots, so I'm thinking Fortuna will see only his 6th card reading. It'll be some what competitive given the make up of Hyland's style. But, Fortuna has the tools to match and should come away with his hand raised.

-Miguel Vazquez (32-3, 13 KOs) vs. Mercito Gesta (26-0-1, 14 KOs) - for Vazquez's IBF lightweight title
*Prediction*
Gesta is Top Rank's hand picked star. He isn't a bad fighter, but he's also nothing special, IMO. He doesn't do anything great, and does a lot of things very well. He lacks closing power and lacks excitement all together when he fights. Vazquez, he's your hand picked guy to be there for Gesta. His boxing ability will be a bit of a hurdle for Gesta, simply because of the reach, but I see Gesta winning a decision to take the IBF title.

-Yuriorkis Gamboa (21-0, 16 KOs) vs. Michael Farenas (34-3-4, 26 KOs) - for vacant WBA interim junior lightweight title
*Prediction*
This isn't as bad a fight as some think. Farenas has been fighting for a while, and all over the world against decent opposition. He fought Uchiyama last fight out, but a clash of heads spelled the end early. Gamboa is coming back after 15 months of inactivity thanks to promotional this and thats. He looked to be in amazing shape though, and I don't see him having any issues. He might get sent down in this one, but once he adjusts, I see him coasting down the stretch to a decision win.

-Manny Pacquiao (54-4-2, 38 KOs) vs. Juan Manuel Marquez (54-6-1, 39 KOs) IV - 12 rounds, welterweights
*Prediction*
Don't really care about Manny fights anymore. Boring and most of the time it's Top Rank just trying to hype another fight because they won't do business with GBP. For the sake of a winner, I will take Marquez.
